Happy Baisakhi in London

'May you come up as bright as Sun, as cool as water and as sweet as honey.'

'May this be the start of a lucky year ahead!'

It is not for the first time when Inspiring Indian Women gather together to celebrate their cultural heritage and make you feel at home. We were invited to celebrate  Baisakhi-  a feast for the soul, filled with love, laughter, and over fifty delicious Indian dishes ( to die for!), at the Siddhashram Shakti Centre in Harrow, London.

Who are Inspirational Indian Women?

‘Sisterhood, love, care, empathy, loneliness, and above all inspiration to everyone…Inspiring Indian Women is a mixture of all these. Our celebrations are made by Indian women for women of the world who have stories to share and who are an inspiration not just to their family but to the society as a whole.  to be together, listening to each other, getting inspired to do something worthwhile and helping each other. Inspiration Indian Women are all selflessly moving along, motivating, encouraging, inspiring, influencing, sharing and caring for each other. This is the platform, where there are no admins, no superiority syndrome as well as no place for jealousy and ego.’ Rashmi and Rani told us.

There are more festivities planned for this year, and if you missed the harvest festival, read their heartfelt wishes  and pass it on

‘May you come up as bright as Sun, as cool as water and as sweet as honey.’

‘May this be the start of a lucky year ahead!’

I hope my short report on Baisakhi fulfills all your desires and wishes. Happy Baisakhi!
